Why Bali was not allowed in Rishyamuka Mountain
Bali was a mighty and powerful demon king in Hindu mythology. He was known for his strength and prowess in battles. Bali had conquered all the three worlds - heaven, earth, and the netherworld. His strength and might had made him arrogant and egoistic. He had become so powerful that even the gods were afraid of him.
One day, Bali decided to perform a grand yajna (sacrificial ceremony) to proclaim his supremacy over the gods. He invited everyone, including the gods, to his yajna. However, he made a mistake by not inviting Lord Vishnu, who was known for his love and devotion towards his devotees.
Lord Vishnu, in his avatar as Vamana, decided to teach Bali a lesson. He approached Bali and asked for a piece of land that could be covered in three steps. Bali, who was known for his generosity, agreed to the request without realizing that Vamana was Lord Vishnu himself.
As soon as Bali agreed, Vamana grew in size and covered the entire earth in one step. For his second step, Vamana covered the entire sky, leaving no space for Bali to fulfill his promise. Bali realized his mistake and offered his head as a place for Vamana to put his third step.
Lord Vishnu was pleased with Bali's generosity and granted him a boon. Bali requested that he be allowed to visit Lord Vishnu's abode, Vaikuntha, along with his entourage, once a year. Lord Vishnu granted his wish, but on the condition that Bali would not be allowed to enter any place where Lord Vishnu's devotees were present.
Thus, when Bali visited the Rishyamuka Mountain, which was the abode of Lord Hanuman and other devotees of Lord Vishnu, he was stopped by Lord Hanuman. Hanuman reminded Bali of Lord Vishnu's condition and stopped him from entering the mountain. Bali realized his mistake and left the place without creating any trouble.
In conclusion, Bali was not allowed in Rishyamuka Mountain because of Lord Vishnu's condition that he would not be allowed to enter any place where his devotees were present. Bali's arrogance and ego had led to his downfall, and he had to face the consequences of his actions.
